Claims operations, owned outright.
A property inspection company set out to run its claims operation on infrastructure it owns, instead of renting the tools that keep the lights on. (The client’s name is kept private at their request.)
The problem
Carriers and adjusters needed secure portals to submit and track work. Schedulers needed real assignment control, not self-service booking chaos. Field crews needed a capture workflow with inline photos. Industry SaaS wanted a monthly fee on tools that never quite matched how the teams actually work — and it kept the data inside someone else’s platform.
What I built
A full claims-operations platform, built from scratch: five user roles — carrier, independent adjuster, scheduler, technician, and admin — all behind a single login. Schedulers assign crews, cases move through a tracked status workflow with a full audit log, and completed work compiles into carrier-ready reporting. Development ran two tracks in parallel, design system and backend converging from the first demo.
The result
Running in production. Login, the case engine, carrier and adjuster submission, the scheduler queue, crew assignment, the field-capture workflow, and carrier-ready reporting all live under one platform. The business owns the code, the database, and the server outright — no SaaS lock-in, no monthly platform fee on a tool it depends on daily.
